T4 amp: bypass the input caps

T4 amp: bypass the input caps

I 'm planning to bypass the input caps on the T4 amp.
First I measured the DC on the input side, near the signal input and it gives 0v. But when I measure the DC behind the Mcaps I measure 2.6v DC. On the output I have 0v DC offset, so I guess my measurement is wrong. No volume pot connected. I'm using my laptop as a source and volume control, with a Behringer UCA 202 external sound card.

Any ideas?
The input caps are there to stop the 2.5VDC, so you can not normally bypass them.
when there is 0v dc on the input signal of the amp, I quess I should be able to remove them. The dac that I will use in the future has dc blocking caps on the output (Cs4398). Setup is: minidsdp (spdif) --> dac --> amp t4. Volume control is on the minidsp.

Still don't understand the 2.6v dc. I'm sure there is 0v on the input signal.
